The people can prevent themselves from lung cancer by avoiding the smoke and exposure to asbestos substances. One should be far away even from those people while they are smoking. Even in the hereditary, if any one has suffered from the cancer earlier, the following generation members will also be in high risk. One can prevent it by knowing about past medical history of the family members. Thus by knowing about them, we will be aware of certain things. And we can take precautions well in advance. If at all the people in the past generation of the family has suffered from any of the cancers, it would be better for those people to get advise from the doctors at the early stage itself if at all they are affected by any of the infected cancers. Be very aware to avoid the exposure to harmful substances like carcinogens in the work place.
